The exact model of LG G4 which goes on sale will be LG D818N which is a dual SIM variant of the international version announced few weeks back. The phone will be up for pre-order (you got to pay the full price up front) soon and has some attractive offers as well. In addition to getting an entry to the mega launch event, customers pre-ordering the phone also have a chance to receive their unit right from Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary superstar of Bollywood. Other offers include-
Free LG G4 Mettallic Finish Back Cover worth Rs.2000/- inside box. Free One Time Screen Replacement worth Rs.6500/-. Free Extra Battery with Charging Cradle worth Rs. 3500/-.
That’s not too bad an offer, but then you’re required to pay the full amount up front!
The LG G4 comes with a 5.5-inch 2K Quantum LCD display covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and is powered by Snapdragon 808 chipset with a 1.8GHz hexa-core processor and Adreno 418 GPU along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of in-built storage. Unlike the norm these days, the LG G4 has a microSD slot which can take memory up to 128GB and a 3000mAh removable battery as well. The highlight of the phone has to be the 16MP rear camera with a wide f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP snapper on the front. Just for the reference, LG’s fierce competitor, Samsung, launched its flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S6 for Rs.49,900 and the Galaxy S6 Edge for Rs 58,900 back in March this year, and both of them are being sold for a lower price already. Update: We are hearing about June 19th launch with stocks arriving as early as 1st of June. That’s confusing we know! Update 2: LG’s own website is now accepting pre-orders! Update 3: Infibeam, one of the online retailers has listed the LG G4 at Rs.49,999 (no launch offers mentioned). This might well be the MOP, with Rs.51,500 being the MRP.
