Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian take their children to get baptized in Armenia. The trip had special spiritual significance for the sisters who are of Armenian descent.

Since their show first aired in 2007, the Kardashian family has been entertaining the reality TV audiences, with Kim at the center of it all. The 38-year-old beauty mogul and social media influencer married rapper Kanye West in 2014, which was featured on season 9 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Currently, the couple has four children -  North, 6, Saint, 3, followed by daughter Chicago, 20-months, and four-month-old Psalm. Older sister of Kim, 40-year-old Kourtney Kardashian was with longtime boyfriend Scott Disick, in which they share three children - Mason, 10, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 4.

Recently, Kim and Kourtney went on a religious trip to Armenia with the purpose of having their children baptized. Kim and Kanye’s three youngest children were baptized in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. According to scholars, it was the oldest cathedral ever built in ancient Armenia. The Kardashians went on a spiritual journey back to their ancestor’s soil to baptize their children. Kim went to Instagram to share a group picture of herself and her children standing alongside Kourtney and her children in the ancient cathedral. She then posted pictures of her youngest children, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, all taking turns being baptized by the priest - see the post below:

She posted on a photo of her and North in the church, “Thank you Armenia for such a memorable trip.” Kim revealed that she was also baptized alongside her children, writing, “So blessed to have been baptized along with my babies at Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.” Kim explained that “Armenia’s main cathedral which is sometimes referred to as the Vatican of the Armenian Apostolic Church. This church was built in 303 AD” However, it was revealed by an insider for People, that Kim’s husband and father of their children, Kanye, wasn’t able to make the trip. Kourtney also posted pictures of her own of the baptism on her Instagram.

With Kanye’s Sunday services, his new album being released titled “Jesus is King”, the religious names of Kim and Kanye’s sons, and the baptisms it seems that the West family are not ashamed of showing off their faith and spirituality. The very personal and sacred experience of having her children’s baptized was shared with her millions of followers on Instagram. It remains to be seen if the trip to Armenia will be shown in the current season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
