Kim Kardashian West recently showed off her four-year-old son Saint’s Jurassic-themed birthday party. There were T-Rex sculptures and plenty of leafy greens to really showcase the prehistoric vibe.
It looks like Kylie and Stormi aren’t the only family members of the Kardashian/Jenner family with a flare for the theatrical. Kim threw a fun-filled party for Saint, whose birthday was December 7. The celebration boasted a number of fun delights including dinosaur footprint cookies, a giant nest of dinosaur “eggs,” as well as a smoke-filled cave, and a “raptor juice” stand. She even made sure all the kids - including daughter Chicago and son Psalm - were decked out in their coolest dinosaur explorer camouflage. Kim has mentioned that she has a special bond with Saint, whom she claims is closer to her in personality than her other children.
“I have no words to describe how much I love your smile and those curls of yours Saint!” Kim wrote to her son on social media. “You bring so much joy into my soul. You are so kind, loving and just so thoughtful and sweet! I am so happy today if your 4th birthday and We get to celebrate how much you’ve grown!”
There were plenty of other treats and attractions at Saint’s Jurassic affair. Kim got her eldest son a cake that was covered in rows of color-coordinated M&Ms across the entire confection. She even organized a “Jurassic Jewelry” station for the kids to make dino-inspired accessories and a dig site so that guests could hunt for fossils like proper archaeologists. This is one of many theme parties the reality family has thrown for the kids over the years. In 2014, Kim honored daughter North with a Coachella-themed soiree, aptly titled “Kidchella.” The family and its guests arrived in music festival-inspired finery. Stormi Webster’s 1st birthday was also an affair to remember when mother Kylie threw her a wild theme-park event. There were moving cakes and plenty of rides for the kiddies. Also, who can forget the infamous Candyland party thrown by Kourtney and Kim for their daughters Penelope and North? The sweets-infused celebration was so decadent, the celebrity moms got into a sisterly tiff over what foods to offer their attendees.
It’s hard to believe that Saint West is already celebrating his fourth birthday. However, it is a wonderful treat to see such a young kid have a strong sense of interest and identity. Instead of having an influencer-themed party, or a kids party clearly branded for adults, Saint decided to flaunt his inner nerd and show us that the Kardashian-Wests are as cerebral as they are fashionable and pop-culture savvy. Also, kudos to Kim for injecting fun into her son’s life. Kim has mom duties on lock-down, and it’s a wonderful change from the girl who once told her fans that all she cared about was fame.
