Twice a cheater, but always True’s dad, Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Khloe Kardashian is working on spending more time with ex Tristan Thompson for the sake of their daughter. Despite being cheated on twice, the 35-year-old reality star is keen on a healthy co-parenting relationship with her NBA star baby daddy.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans will never forget how video footage of Thompson hooking up with a girl in an NYC club went viral while Khloe lay in labor with the couple’s daughter, True Thompson. Despite all advice from her sisters who were less than impressed, Khloe and Tristan welcomed their baby girl together and did their best to salvage their relationship. However, less than a year later, Thompson was caught cheating on Khloe again, this time with Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s best friend. Apparently, it’s two strikes and you’re out for Khloe Kardashian, as the incident with Woods was enough for her to end their relationship.
Despite the dramatic breakup earlier this year, Us Weekly reports Khloe has been making an effort to include Thompson in her life for the sake of their 20-month-old daughter. Thompson was invited to True’s first birthday party at the Kardashian residence, and even more surprisingly, to the annual Kardashian Christmas Eve party at Kourtney Kardashian’s home. “I crave peace in my life,” Kardashian wrote on her Instagram stories on December 5, “Me holding onto hate is only going to hurt me in the end.” Events seen on Keeping Up With The Kardashians suggest Thompson was hoping to reconcile with Khloe, but the Good American designer has made it clear that her intentions in extending an olive branch are purely for the sake of her daughter.
While fans were heartbroken for Khloe throughout all of this, many questioned her good sense in dating Thompson in the first place, as this isn’t the first time he’s abandoned his pregnant partner. In fact, Thompson’s ex-girlfriend of two years Jordan Craig, was six months pregnant when he and Khloe first went public as a couple. To this day, Thompson has never publicly acknowledged his son with Craig, Prince, who now three years old. Craig alleges Thompson cheated on her with Kardashian when she was only a few months pregnant.
Khloe is not the first Kardashian who is navigating a co-parenting relationship with her ex. Kourtney, 40, parents three children with ex and co-star Scott Disick. The two can frequently be seen on vacations and outings together, making memories as a family for the sake of their kids. More recently, Kylie Jenner has also split from baby daddy Travis Scott. Jenner intended to follow in her sisters’ footsteps and build a healthy co-parenting relationship with Scott for the sake of their one-year-old daughter, Stormi. Here’s hoping 2020 brings better luck in love for the Khloe and the Kardashian women.
